The following are articles, books, writings and general documentation that have been a source of inspiration for us and that we wish to share with you.
Tom Voccola - The Accidental CEO
Tom, Thanks for your insight. Yours is not merely a book about Leadership (which by the way is brilliant and thought provoking), it is a book about life. I was thinking that if I was to live some of the learnings (and reminders) from your book, then I would lead a much fuller life and impact my surroundings positively.
I have long been a supporter of the inverted pyramid, and you have given it new meaning especially from the point of view of Management layers and Leaders being empowered by their people. It is as challenging as it is powerful and I believe GREAT Leaders already do (instinctively) or will adopt your credo on this. How Powerful.
I shall keep your book handy as my reminder whenever I feel I am letting myself (and as a result others) down, and ensure that "who I am is what I bring to each situation in life".
A heart-felt thank you. Aldo.
Jill Sweatman - Lessons For A Successful Merger Or Acquisition
There are some important lessons that companies who wish to improve their profits or simply stay in business, cannot afford to ignore. Especially if they are involved in a merger or acquisition. These lessons were brought sharply into focus recently while I was preparing a company for its float.
Harvard Business Review - Social Intelligence and the Biology of Leadership
The concept of emotional intelligence continues to occupy a prominent space in the leadership literature and in everyday coaching practices. But in the past five years, research in the emerging field of social neuroscience—the study of what happens in the brain while people interact—is beginning to reveal subtle new truths about what makes a good leader.

The lesson from Greg Mortenson is clear, take a compassionate approach to adversity. This takes true courage and comes from our Essence, which at its core is pure, exploratory, growth-attuned, astoundingly innovative, and frankly, exhilarating, for when things get to their worst and humankind seems to have lost everything, great Leaders seem to emerge and take humanity to its next stage of evolution. - Aldo Grech |
As he depicts it, Clinton since leaving office has transformed his life from "getting" to "giving." Politics, he writes, "is a 'getting' business" -- getting votes, support, contributions and so on. "To balance the scales," he says, he has devoted his post-presidency to giving. - The Washington Post |
"In the universe there is an immeasurable, indescribable force which Shamans call Intent, and absolutely everything that exists in the entire cosmos is attached to intent by a connecting link". - Carlos Castenada. |
